Summary

What the record shows

On 28 August 2026, Global Scam Report received two related allegations of money being lost in transactions associated with CoinDrop.trade. The submitter described their own loss and a loss affecting their sister-in-law. No order numbers, transaction hashes, bank statements or provider correspondence have yet been supplied through the evidence-upload process, so these two allegations are not independently verified and are not counted as separate corroborating sources.

AntiSwap classified CoinDrop as neutral and reported detecting roughly 110 negative reviews on other monitoring services, including one AML-related case and four reports involving cards or bank accounts. BestChange displayed more than 1,100 CoinDrop reviews and, at the time checked, zero active and two historical financial claims. Archived BestChange pages include complaints about delayed or incomplete payments and AML-related deductions, alongside resolutions and a much larger number of positive reviews.

Key findings

What is established and what is not

  • There is a genuine, multi-site consumer-complaint signal concerning delays, AML/KYC holds, payout completion and bank-transfer consequences.
  • The number of complaints does not establish that CoinDrop committed fraud. The same public record contains many positive reviews, resolved cases and contrary automated reputation assessments.
  • A user should preserve the order number, transaction hash, destination details, quoted rate, timestamps, support correspondence and bank records before making or disputing a claim.
  • Because cryptocurrency transfers can be irreversible and AML terms may permit holds or document requests, users should verify the operator and terms independently and avoid transferring an amount they cannot afford to have delayed.

Response and denials

The other side of the record

CoinDrop states that it has operated since 2019, uses verified counterparties, performs AML checks, provides 24/7 support and has no hidden conditions. Its BestChange profile says it is trusted by tens of thousands of clients.

CoinDrop’s published AML/KYC/SoF policy says it may suspend an order when risk indicators, third-party complaints, disputed payments or other compliance triggers arise, and may request identity or source-of-funds evidence. Its support materials direct disputed users to provide their order number, transaction details, receipts and transaction hash.

Automated reputation services conflict: ScamAdviser described the site as likely legitimate, while Gridinsoft assigned a low trust score. Automated scores are indicators, not proof of either safety or fraud.

Global Scam Report evaluation

Summary assessment

GSR fraud-risk rating: HIGH RISK (red). Global Scam Report applies its highest precautionary rating because of the volume and nature of public complaints and the reported-loss allegations received directly. This is a warning to avoid relying on the service without rigorous transaction-level verification; it is not a definitive finding that CoinDrop is a fraudulent enterprise. The rating can be lowered or removed as authenticated transaction evidence, regulator findings or a substantive operator response becomes available.

Scope qualificationThis is an independent risk assessment, not a criminal or civil finding. Individual complaints may involve exchanger conduct, banking delays, AML/KYC obligations, third-party payment details, user error or impersonation. Confirm that any disputed transaction used the exact official domain and support channels.
